Welcome to the Morris Plains School District Registration Portal

We are always excited to welcome new students and their families to our family.
Here you will find information about enrolling your child at both Mountain Way and Borough Schools.


Step 1: Please CLICK HERE to pre-register your child in Genesis, our student information system. If you have any questions, please contact:

Step 2: Print and complete all of the necessary school and medical forms linked in the "Forms" section above. Bring all completed forms, along with the completed Registration Checklist (which can be found on the Forms page) with you to the main office at your respective school.

Be sure to bring an ORIGINAL copy of your child's birth certificate. A copy will be made and the ORIGINAL birth certificate will be returned to you immediately.

Be sure that you have all necessary "Proof of Residency" documents as you will be asked to prove residency. "Proof of Residency" requirements can be found by CLICKING HERE.
